Small science for Hong Kong – Why not?

Cambridge scientists working for the Wellcome Trust have sequenced entire genomes for the lung and skin cancers. This paves the way to future researches and treatments.

Hong Kong may not have the land for huge scientific experiments like the LHC. But cancer research – why not? China is in the consortium as well, working on stomach cancer. What is Hong Kong waiting for?
